Mahiaare Healing
Central Gujarat’s first purpose-designed luxury riverfront healing retreat
Architecture for solitude around nature
On the Banks of the Ancient Mahisagar River, Anand, Gujarat
MAHIAARE HEALING is an intimate, self-funded and designed by the architect, 16-room residential healing retreat envisioned on the banks of the ancient Mahisagar River near milk capital of India.
The Mahisagar carries historical and spiritual significance, with references in the ancient Puranas. Mahiaare combines this timeless riverfront setting with healing-centred architecture, personalised wellbeing and contemporary hospitality.
Located within the Ahmedabad–Vadodara corridor, the retreat offers natural seclusion while remaining conveniently accessible to Gujarat’s domestic, international and NRI communities.
THE VISION
Mahiaare is founded on the belief that healing should not be confined to treatment but freedom of personal care. It should unfold throughout the river bank where sages did Tapsyas—through architecture, landscape, water, food, silence, movement and an uninterrupted relationship with river. As our brain reads a space before we even release it. The height, light, enclosure, visibility-every design decision can change how a space feels and how we have inside it.
The project aspires to become Central Gujarat’s first purpose-designed, intimate luxury riverfront healing retreat when architecture goes beyond what we see.
