Theme based experimental design for sensible and luxurious living spaces

Vintage colors with Victorian hues are embedded with traditional motifs on a contemporary design style. It is an experimental design theme; we tried using 80% fabric. A beautiful abstract of Lord Ganesha on the left welcomes you at the foyer. A continuous sofa design supports itself on a 25mm plywood base and legs compared to the conventional heavy structured sofas. This saved money and time. Dining being the least used area by the client was a tangible element for us that needed to exist without having its presence being very loud. Hence, we choose to go for a slim leg structure and a transparent glass top.

 Change in the Diamond height allowed us to add cove lights without creating a false ceiling. Change in the material between Bronze laminate to white paint creates a subtle ceiling flows towards the passage but very well breaks the homogeneity of the grid size. Dining set on an artistic canvas composed of crockery units.

Grooves often tend to be hidden when it can serve a much bigger purpose. The grooves here try to unify the wall again which seems to have been separated because of the vertical doors.

Living/Dining has a set of three hexagon center tables with the geometrical interpretation of diamonds and hexagons. The door has a unique jali design with a Brass handle and nameplate. The descending gradient from top-down allows thorough cross-ventilation but cuts down visibility.

Curves depict the playfulness of a child supported with bright colors on a square showing her progression to mature intellect. The ceiling is made of stainless steel rods that form a wave that slowly diminishes at the window. A wall-mounted sculpture was to create shelves that are also functional.

In grandparents’ room, chrome interior with a muddy touch expresses their longevity with the use of stainless steel. Elements of the ceiling gradually flow down the wall trying to guide its viewer's attention at varying eye levels. The major elements of design use metal to decrease visual mass and increased floor area. This and the unique small scale ceiling design amplify the available space value.
